Every web designer has a set of tools to make development easier, and I am no different. I thought I'd share my list of necessary tools. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but I couldn't imagine doing anything without these.

While at work, I received an interesting Skype message. Apparently, Windows Security Center displays its warnings through Skype now.

Here's an interesting way to run cables, as found in Fairmont's only hospital:

I think this pretty much speaks for itself...though I wonder if the person who did this is aware there are faceplates with 6, or even 8, ports? Or maybe they just didn't have any on hand? Who knows, but this is definitely a cabling FAIL.

A customer called me today, saying some of her files were missing...

Me:  "You wouldn’t happen to know where you saved those files, do you?"
Her: "Excel."
Me:  "Right, but I mean what folder?"
Her: "Excel."
Me:  facepalm, hopes she has a folder named "Excel"
